Actor Ruru Madrid had nothing but praise for his longtime girlfriend, Bianca Umali, who impressed both fans and critics with her powerful fight scenes as Terra in ‘Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre’.
In the July 18 episode, Terra (played by Umali) unleashed her combat prowess after a brutal attack that left her family gunned down in their own home by the men of Gov. Emil (Ricky Davao). The action-packed sequence quickly trended online, with Ruru joining the chorus of admirers.
“Ang husay husay! Kakaproud!” he wrote, expressing how proud he was of Bianca’s performance—especially noteworthy coming from the actor known for his own action roles in GMA’s primetime slate.
In the hit GMA Network fantasy series, Bianca’s character Terra is the daughter of Sang’gre Danaya (Sanya Lopez) and the destined heir to the Earth Gem. As the chosen protector of Encantadia, she is tasked with defending the realm against the powerful queen of Mine-a-ve, Mitena (Rhian Ramos).
