The long-awaited ‘Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale’ has finally premiered — and it wasted no time delivering shade, glamour, and high-stakes competition among some of Asia’s fiercest drag artists.

The episode kicked off with the return of fan-favorite queens, including ‘Drag Race Philippines Season 2’ winner Arizona Brandy, Thailand’s Siam Phussi, Belgium’s Madame Yoko, and UK’s Sum Ting Wong, joined by a dazzling lineup of queens from ‘Drag Race’ franchises across Asia and beyond.
The mini-challenge, a high-energy hairography showdown, immediately set the tone for the season. Queens whipped, flipped, and even tossed their wigs — quite literally in Arizona’s case — for a cash tip and an advantage in the maxi challenge. Khianna emerged victorious, earning ₱80,000 and a five-second head start in the next round.
For the Miss Shutacca Slaysian Edition maxi challenge, contestants competed in three categories: National Costume, Evening Gown, and Question and Answer. The queens brought both comedy and culture to the runway, with standout moments including Khianna’s kalabaw-inspired look and Arizona Brandy’s hilariously viral line: “What will you do with a kilo of vegetables when a bottle of liquor is more affordable?”
The competition heated up as Khianna and Siam Phussi landed in the Top 2, while Sum Ting Wong and Madame Yoko found themselves at the bottom. The lip sync for their legacy — set to ‘Debut’ by Katseye — became an electrifying face-off between the Philippines and Thailand.
Khianna ultimately claimed the win, outdancing her Thai counterpart and making the difficult decision to eliminate Madame Yoko, who became the first queen to leave the competition.
The season introduces an All Stars-style elimination format, where the top queens of each episode will lip sync for their legacy, deciding which contestant goes home.
The winner of ‘Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale’ will take home ₱2 million from BingoPlus, a year’s supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics, and the honor of being the first queen inducted into the Slaysian Hall of Fame.
New episodes of Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale drop every Wednesday exclusively on WOW Presents Plus.
