Filipino social media personality Fhukerat, known off-camera as Kier Garcia, revealed that he was denied entry to Dubai and sent back to the Philippines, sharing that the incident left him in tears and visibly shaken.

Garcia initially documented his travel on social media, telling followers he was heading abroad without disclosing his destination. However, in a later update, he said his excitement turned into distress upon arrival in Dubai.
“Nasa Dubai, pinauwi pa. Grabe. Naiiyak ako na nanginginig at takot,” he said.
The content creator did not specify the reason behind the denied entry, but online users quickly pointed to his attire. Garcia flew to Dubai wearing a wig, women’s clothing, false eyelashes, and nail extensions—elements that netizens believe may have prompted stricter scrutiny from immigration authorities.
Dubai, part of the United Arab Emirates, is known for enforcing conservative public decency regulations. Cross-dressing is prohibited, and visitors may be questioned or barred entry if their appearance is deemed inconsistent with local cultural or legal expectations.
Garcia has since returned to the Philippines. In a follow-up post, he thanked his supporters for checking on him after the incident.
“Maraming salamat sa lahat ng nag-message at nag-alala,” he wrote.
As of this writing, Dubai immigration authorities have not issued a statement regarding Garcia’s case.
