Bianca de Vera took center stage at the final Star Magic Spotlight press conference of the year, where she shared updates on her career and reflected on the steady momentum she has gained in recent months.

Even before her stint in ‘Pinoy Big Brother Collab’, Bianca had already appeared in several on-screen projects, gradually building her portfolio through varied roles. She is now set to take on her first major lead role in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2025 entry ‘Love You So Bad.’
“Hindi ko naman in-expect na magkakaroon ako ng ganito karaming blessings, which I’m very, very grateful for… ‘Yung buhay ko ngayon, if I compare it from before… ito ‘yung moments na ipinagdarasal ko lang noon,” Bianca shared during the press conference.
Co-produced by Star Cinema, GMA Pictures, and Regal Entertainment, Love You So Bad stars Bianca as Savannah, a young woman caught in a complicated love story involving two contrasting love interests played by Will Ashley and Dustin Yu.
Recalling her experience working on the film, Bianca described the project as emotionally demanding but fulfilling.
“It was really a journey. It was really a rollercoaster for the three of us… In this project I had the privilege na makilala ulit sila from scratch. Nakita ko sila sa ibang light, which is such a blessing for me,” she said.
Aside from ‘Love You So Bad’, Bianca will also reunite with some of her former ‘PBB’ housemates in the upcoming mystery-family drama ‘The Secrets of Hotel 88,’ a collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA Network that has already generated anticipation among viewers.
Looking back on her journey, Bianca admitted that becoming a leading lady was once just a distant dream.
“Pangarap ko lang maging Star Cinema leading lady noon, and now I get the chance to be able to be one,” she said.
With multiple projects lined up and increasingly prominent roles, Bianca de Vera continues to prove that she is ready for bigger challenges. From her early beginnings to her current status as a leading lady, her growth reflects both determination and gratitude as she moves forward in her career.
