Actress and former ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ housemate Barbie Imperial revealed that she was rushed to the hospital after sharing an update on her Instagram Stories.

On her account, Barbie posted a photo of her arm wearing a hospital wristband bearing her name, indicating that she had been admitted through the emergency room. She did not disclose further details about the cause of her hospitalization.
Shortly after, the actress used her platform to remind her followers about the importance of mental health. In a series of posts, she shared gentle reminders such as: it’s okay not to be okay sometimes; celebrate your progress no matter how small; take breaks when feeling overwhelmed; surround yourself with uplifting people; be gentle with yourself during difficult times; and focus on what you can control while letting go of what you can’t.
Barbie also emphasized the importance of kindness, urging people to be mindful of the words they say.
“Be kind. Always be kind. Always choose the words you say to people. You could be standing in front of someone who’s really trying their best not to fall apart,” she wrote. “And take some rest. The world can wait. Good night.”
Imperial rose to fame after joining ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ in 2015, where she shared the batch with Bailey May and Ylona Garcia, and has since built a steady career in television and film.
As of writing, Barbie has yet to provide an update on her condition, but her posts have drawn messages of concern and support from fans, many of whom echoed her call to prioritize rest, kindness, and mental well-being.
