Kapuso Marian Rivera expressed her approval of young actress Liza Soberano to take on her former role as “Darna” in the upcoming movie remake of the superhero comics.
During an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), the 32-year-old actress shared how she has two thumbs up for Liza as the new “Darna.”
“Oo, okay naman. Ganda siya. Perfect para sa kanya,” she said.
Marian played the iconic role in 2009 aired in GMA.
She also wished Liza good luck and assured fans that the Liza will definitely give justice to the character.
“Good luck. Pero for sure naman, kahit sino’ng magsuot din niyan, e, siguradong susuportahan, especially kung siya.”
“Parang majority naman yata, e, siya yung gusto.
“Saka maganda naman [siya]. Sexy. Kaya niya ‘yan.”
Speaking of superheroes, Marian is once again playing superhero role just like “Darna” to dominate your TV screens soon.
“Super Ma’am,” previously known as “Good Teacher” is the Kapuso actress’ latest series to be aired in GMA very soon. She will be joined by sexy actress Kim Domingo in the said project.
