Young actors Dustin Yu and Bianca de Vera have sparked fresh dating rumors after an unexpected moment during one of Yu’s live broadcasts circulated widely on social media.

In a video now making the rounds online, Yu was hosting a live session on his social media account when a voice believed to be de Vera’s was suddenly heard calling for him in the background.
What caught the attention of viewers was the term she used—“baba,” a Filipino term of endearment commonly used between couples.
The actress could reportedly be heard calling Yu “baba” several times while looking for him. The unexpected interruption appeared to catch Yu off guard, as he seemed momentarily flustered while facing the camera.
Yu was then heard telling de Vera, “Ca, naka-live ako,” seemingly trying to signal that he was currently broadcasting live. However, it appeared that de Vera did not immediately hear him, as she continued calling him by the affectionate nickname.
Moments later, Yu abruptly ended the live stream, which further fueled speculation among viewers.
Clips of the incident quickly spread across social media platforms, particularly on X (formerly Twitter), where fans and netizens reacted with amusement. Some even began teasing the rumored pair—often referred to by fans as “DustBia”—about the now-viral “baba” moment.
This is not the first time Yu has found himself in an awkward viral situation online. Previously, the actor also trended after accidentally appearing in a TikTok live session hosted by a netizen, leaving him visibly unsure of how to exit the stream.
As of writing, neither Yu nor de Vera has publicly confirmed the status of their relationship, though the incident has only intensified speculation among fans.
