Kapamilya actor Rave Victoria admitted he was caught off guard after Kapuso actress Ashley Sarmiento publicly confirmed that he is courting her during a television interview.
Rave shared his reaction during the Star Magic Spotlight press conference on March 18, when he was asked about Ashley’s revelation on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda.
When asked if he had seen the interview, Rave replied, “Siyempre naman po.”
“Ayun po, siyempre ‘nung….grabe kasi national TV na-broadcast, kaya nabigla rin ako noon,” he added.
“Tapos sabi niya naman kasi na deserve ko raw na malaman ng mga tao, yun po,” he continued.
The young actor said he was at home watching the interview live when the revelation happened.
“Nasa bahay lang po ako ‘nun. Nanonood po talaga ako ng live. Tapos ayun po nabigla ako kay Tito Boy, Grabe ka Tito Boy,” he said, laughing.
“Good question Tito Boy,” he added jokingly.
“Nakaupo lang po ako nun tapos biglang ganun na po ‘yung tanong,” he recalled.
When asked if he immediately contacted Ashley after the interview, Rave said they were only able to talk later.
“Siyempre medyo busy pa siya nun, tapos po, nag-usap na po kami,” he said.
Ashley first confirmed Rave’s courtship during her guest appearance on ‘Fast Talk With Boy Abunda’ on March 13.
“Nag-start na po siya manligaw. Isang beses pa lang po siya pumunta po sa house. Pero one time po nag-church po kami, tapos in-invite po kami ng ate ko po sa house niya po para mag-bonding po,” she shared.
Rave and Ashley were both former housemates of ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab 2.0’. Rave was the fourth Kapamilya housemate to be evicted, while Ashley finished as the Kapuso Third Big Placer during the show’s Big Night.
