Atome Philippines has partnered with Electronic Commerce Payments, Inc. (ECPay), the leading provider of electronic payment systems in the Philippines, to enable Atome customers to top up their mobile load directly within the Atome app — and pay for it using their Atome Card.

ECPay, now part of Mynt — the fintech arm of Globe Telecom and operator of GCash, the Philippines’ largest e-wallet — is one of the largest payment networks in the Philippines, spanning online, e-wallets and convenience stores, pawnshops, and local sari-sari stores.

Meanwhile, Atome has issued over 3 million Atome Cards in the Philippines. Up to 80% are first-time cardholders and 65% are women, with the majority using the card for daily needs — groceries, food, household items, and utility bill payments. Mobile load now joins that list with customers now able to purchase SMART, Globe, and DITO prepaid load directly within the Atome app.

“For millions of Filipinos, mobile load is an essential part of daily life — critical to how they work, pay bills, and stay connected. This partnership highlights how innovation and inclusion can come together, with ECPay’s nationwide network helping make services more accessible, reliable and enabling the ecosystem. Together, we are making it simpler for Atome app users to top up mobile load anytime, anywhere,” said Maria Patricia Antonia Pascual, President and CEO, ECPay.

“Mobile load is a monthly fixed cost for almost every Filipino household — it belongs alongside groceries and utility bills as something you plan and budget for. With ECPay now integrated into the Atome app, our 3 million cardholders can top up their load wherever they are and manage it as part of their monthly spending, all while earning Atome rewards points,” said Christian Quiros, President and General Manager, Atome Philippines.
