Due to the exchange tweets of Ms. Lea Salonga and Mr. Joey de Leon last Friday September 25, 2015, it has caused both sides to have confusions and to feel sulk with each other. Since Joey has been the number one supporter and defender of AlDub Love Tandem, it’s on his nature to be defensive and to post tweets online that will make everyone feel furious, confuse and laugh at times.
On September 26, 2015 Saturday, the veteran comedian confirmed that Lea was not pertaining to AlDub for being shallow, it has gained almost 4,400 favorites on Twitter or we call as “likes” on Facebook. Just this afternoon, October 1, 2015 Miss Saigon replied to the comedian’s tweet, she even called Joey “Tito” (Uncle) as respect and for being in the same industry for many years.
One hour later, Joey posted his response to Lea’s tweet with a statement “Hi Lea, no worries. Let us all start in a WHOLE NEW WORLD! Mabuhay ka!” Then, Lea answered post is “Same to you!! My best to everyone in EB Land.”
In these statements mentioned above, it seems the two famous personalities on the entertainment industry have both decided to put an end to the rift created last week through their conversations on Twitter.
