The guessing game going on for the past few years will end at noon today on the GMA show Party Pilipinas when sweethearts Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez (photo) jointly make the “important announcement” which Ogie and his manager Leo Dominguez have been asking friends to watch out for via text-messaging.
It’s confirmed: Ogie and Regine will get married on Dec. 22, the date which Regine has been hinting at in recent TV interviews and which Ogie described as “a happy day.”
According to The STAR’s VDPA (Very Deep Penetration Agent) embedded in the Kapuso network, it’s going to be either a garden or a beach wedding.
“The sweethearts have decided to finally make public their wedding plan because there’s no more legal impediment,” said the VDPA. “The annulment of Ogie’s marriage to Michelle van Eimeren has been approved by the court. Ogie and Regine can now breathe easily.”
Michelle got married to fellow Australian Mark Murrow last year in Australia. Ogie and Regine were present at the event in which Regine dedicated a song to the newly-weds. It’s presumed that Michelle and Mark will also attend Ogie and Regine’s wedding.
“Whether the wedding is held at a garden or on a beach,” added the VDPA, “Regine will wear a beautiful gown.”
For sure, Leila and Sarah, Ogie and Michelle’s daughters, will be included in the entourage probably as flower girls.
According to Ogie in a Conversations with Ricky Lo feature Sunday last week, “(Regine) and I are as good as married emotionally and spiritually.”
Among the principal sponsors are GMA Network big boss Atty. Felipe Gozon and TV5 head Manny V. Pangilinan.
