After bagging gold medals at the ongoing 26th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Jakarta, Indonesia, Philippine Taekwondo jins (L-R) Japoy Lizardo, Francesca Camille Alarilla, Ma. Carla Janice Lagman and Rani Ann Ortega visited the ABS-CBN and were honored by some of its show hosts for their achievement.
In an interview in “Iba Balita” with news anchors Jasmine Romero and Tony Velasquez on Studio 23, Alarilla said the country will always be their inspiration for their craft.
The team, headed by coach Rocky Samson, is now gearing up to make it to the 2012 Olympics qualifiers in Bangkok, Thailand. Always tune in to Studio 23 for unlimited SEA Games action.
