Angeline Quinto‘s career soars high this 2011 since she won as the Grand Champion of the “Star Power: Search for the Next Female Pop Superstar” hosted by Sharon Cuneta on ABS-CBN.
It is evident that the drumbeat for Angeline Quinto’s career is working based on the number of PMPC Star Awards for Music trophies she took home this year. She was declared “New Female Recording Artist of the Year” for her eponymous album. More importantly, her first hit “Patuloy Ang Pangarap” won “Song of the Year,” which many consider as the highest award.
Jonathan Manalo’s anthemic “Patuloy Ang Pangarap” is an appropriately soaring inspirational number for people who have lofty ambitions and big dreams and Angeline has no trouble hitting the song’s challenging notes. Her first album received a “platinum award”
We can say now that this year, Angeline Quinto is this year’s “Queen of Theme Songs.” It’s not an official title but the title fits based on the theme songs used on television this year. She was tapped by the Kapamilya network to become the voice behind station IDs, a tourism campaign, a talk show, and various television series, as follows:

Having won ABS-CBN’s reality singing contest, “Star Power: Search for the Next Female Pop Superstar” early this year, Angeline is a homegrown ABS-CBN’ Star Records contract artist.
More than her singing career, young singer Angeline Quinto’s first-ever movie is now underway. Angeline will be paired with heartthrob Coco Martin in a movie titled “You Light Up My Life” under Star Cinema. Maybe next year after the movie, a TV show? Why not!? Angeline is still young and as far as Star Magic is concerned, I know, they can do everything just to make Angeline a bigger star for the coming years.
