Sports5, the sports arm of TV5, continues to build its roster of sports ambassadors with the signing of Chris Tiu as its basketball ambassador.
In an interview with Chris last Thursday, he shares, “Usually naggiguest ako sa mga sports show. Sa GMA kasi mostly entertainment e. I did the show before with Manny Pacquiao which is “Pinoy Records” but it was a segment lang, ‘yung featured sports.”
“‘Yung TV5 na “Ako Mismo” naman is more on initiative and “Toink” is a game show. So this is the first one na talagang into sports ako sa isang show,” he added.
When asked how does he feels to do this kind of the show, Chris answers, “I’m very excited kasi ito talaga ang linya ko. Dahil nakilala naman ako because of basketball sa UAAP and ironically I never had a sports show and this is the first time after 5 years of being on TV.”
Chris will be seen in the instructional segment called “1-on-1 Tiu-torials,” which will air on AKTV on IBC13, the premier sports channel on Free TV, and on HYPER, the 24/7 sports channel of Sports5.
