“The Amazing Race Philippines,” dubbed as the country’s most expensive reality show, is set to premiere on TV5 on Monday, October 29, 2012. Kapatid actor and sportsman Derek Ramsay will be hosting the show.
“The Amazing Race Philippines” has named the 11 pairs of contestants to the media and Bloggers on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012. The contestants were chosen from a series of auditions and actively participated in a cross-country adventure race from late April through June.
The 11 pairs are the following:
- Celebrity best friends LJ Moreno and CJ Jaravata
- Brothers-in-law Dayal Chowdary, Jr. and Fausto Reyes
- Gym buddies Marc Dungo and Kat Tan
- Amigas Jervi Lisaba and Saida Diola
- Reunited friends Sheena Vera Cruz and Gee “Speedy” Canlas
- Alabang housewives Pam Spell and Vanessa Ishitani
- Father and son Ed and Angel Movido
- Friends Boom Vergara and Cheng Enriquez
- Football brothers Armand and Anton del Rosario
- Bombshells Dani Castano and Mish Van Ruyven
- Dating couple Crustel Castro and Mykey Lacson
“The Amazing Race Philippines” is a Filipino franchise of the world’s most successful reality show, “The Amazing Race.” It will be hosted by actor Derek Ramsay starting October 29 from Monday to Friday after “Wil Time Bigtime” on Tv5.
