“Nung sinabi ng manager ko that Star Cinema and Viva Films are thinking about getting me for the John Lloyd-Sarah movie, sumigaw talaga ako. Parang hindi ako mapaniwala because as I’ve said before, I’ve been a fan of the Laida and Miggy’s first two movies. It’s really like a dream first movie project for me,” said Isabelle, who in the film plays the role of Isabel Laurel, Miggy’s college sweetheart.
Isabelle further shared that she will forever treasure the opportunity to have worked with John Lloyd and Sarah. “I had such a great experience dahil ang galing-galing nila. Si John Lloyd, napakagenerous actor niya. He really allows you to be comfortable. Tuturuan ka niya kapag tinanong mo siya, but he won’t impose his experience on you,” she said. “Sarah naman is such an underrated actress. Everybody sees her as a popstar, a singer. Pero napakagaling niyang artista and napakagaling rin magpatawa. Kahit ako ‘pag nanonood ako ng scenes nila ni John Lloyd, kinikilig ako or tumatawa ako nang sobra because her comedic timing is so good.”
According to Isabelle, the loyal fans of the movie series will surely learn a lot in the part 3 of Laida and Miggy’s love story. “I think the message of the movie is that it takes a lot of work to be in a relationship that will last for a long time. Kailangan talaga mag-compromise at to understand each person’s side. Being in a relationship is not just about how you feel, but how other person feels,” she related.
