At 5:30 pm, Star Cinema will hold a free film showing of a box-office hit movie that captured the hearts of Filpinos worldwide—“It Takes A Man And A Woman” topbilled by Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz.
The outdoor screening will be made more special by the special appearances by some of ABS-CBN’s biggest stars including Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga from the upcoming romantic-comedy film “Un-Love You,” and Bea Alonzo and Enrique Gil from the much-talked-about drama movie “She’s The One.” Star Cinema’s participation in The Grand Kapamilya Weekend is likewise part of its year-long 20th anniversary festivity.
Following the film screening, ABS-CBN’s FM station ‘MOR 101.9 For Life’ will stage the “MOR LIVE: Kwento ng Musikang Pilipino” free concert at 8:30 pm featuring a string of world-class OPM artists including Daniel Padilla, Jed Madela, Yeng Constantino, Jovit Baldivino, Juris, KZ Tandingan, Bugoy Drilon, Liezel Garcia, Marcelito Pomoy, Bryan Termulo, Darryl Shy, Loonie, Ron Henley, and Cathy Go. MOR DJs will also have a special production number in the concert.
Aside from movie screening and concert, Star Cinema and ‘MOR 101.9 For Life’ will set up special booths at the ‘Kapamilya Village’ during the two-day Grand Kapamilya Weekend.
Kapamilya attendees can visit the Star Cinema booth for photo opportunities with their favorite ABS-CBN stars who will take part in the event. It will also feature the exclusive trailer screenings of newly launched and soon to be released Star Cinema movies such as ‘OTJ,’ ‘Momzillas,’ ‘Kung Fu Divas,’ ‘She’s The One,’ and ‘Un-Love You.’ Participants can also purchase Star Home Video DVDs and ‘Star Cinema 20’ merchandise.
Meanwhile, ‘MOR 101.9 For Life’ DJs and staff are set to indulge loyal Kapamilyas with MOR fun and MOR prizes when they visit the MOR booth. They can greet, request for their favorite songs, take pictures with MOR DJs, and bond with the rest of the ‘MORkada.’ On Sunday (October 6), MOR booth will be open to registration for DJ wannabees for the radio program “On-Air.”
