From this photo of Angel Locsin (above) taken at Enrique Gil’s concert in Smart-Araneta Coliseum, we can see how she made herself worthy to be considered to play the “Darna” role again. For every girl in showbiz, “Darna” is one of the most wanted role. Some of the showbiz personalities I know who wanted to be the “Darna” are Sam Pinto, KC Conception, Maja Salvador, among others.
Angel’s body, among others, is an ideal epitome of ‘sexiness’ for women. Aside from her very Pinay look, she has voluptuous figure, and she has lost a lot of weight. She’s sexier now not just she lost weight but also, look at her curves, alluring, which transcends high cheekbones and youth. When I saw this pic, I just said ‘wow,’ I thought it was years ago when she’s still in GMA Network, but sorry I was wrong. This is really her latest figure.
Last year, ABS-CBN acquired the rights to several Mars Ravelo titles including “Darna,” “Captain Barbell” and “Dyesebel.” Angel has already played “Darna” on television in 2005. The most recent TV incarnation of “Darna” is actress Marian Rivera, who appeared in a 2009 series by Network. Both are successful and skyrocketed in TV ratings.
