Jericho Rosales is really one lucky guy! Apart from his upcoming wedding to fiancee Kim Jones, he also has upcoming teleserye with Angel Locsin, Maja Salvador and JC de Vera (see: Jericho Rosales, Maja Salvador, JC de Vera and Angel Locsin topbill family drama series “The Legal Wife”) and a movie with Andi Eigenmann titled “Aba Nakakabasa Na Pala Ako.”
This will be Jericho’s first time to work with Andi in a project and also his first movie project under Viva Films after he inked a three-picture contract with the movie outfit again last September.
“Aba Nakakabasa Na Pala Ako” is a film adaptation of Bob Ong’s first novelty book (2003), which gained popularity for its humorous depiction of absurdities inherent in Filipino urban culture. Viva acquired the two Bob Ong novels (with “Lumayo Ka Nga Sa Akin”) early last year and optioned the third a few months ago. All three are in various stages of development and production. The studio is calling the series The Viva Bestsellers.
Based on the book by Bob Ong and directed by Mark Meily, “Aba Nakakabasa Na Pala Ako” also stars Meg Imperial and Vandolph Quizon.
