The Dance Princess was awarded on by surprise on ASAP 19 last June 8, 2014 after she launched her second single from the album, entitled “Halikana” (featuring Abra).
Released under Ivory Music & Video and produced by award-winning arranger and producer, Jonathan Ong, the album features 8 tracks including the hit song “Dahan-Dahan” and her collaboration with hip-hop star Abra called “Halikana”. In this album, the Dance Princess also launched her first original composition called “Buong Gabi” featuring Project Pinas.
Her first single hit the radio airwaves and music charts by storm. After its first week of airing, “Dahan-Dahan” reached as high as #1 on the radio charts including and the music video reached 1M YouTube views after 2 months. It’s also one of the top-selling songs on iTunes and her song landed on the top spot along with foreign artists.
