Netizens had mixed reactions to the issue of Xian Lim who is now accused of being rude towards a government officials during his recent visit to Albay. Albay Governor Joey Salceda posted a status on Facebook on the night of Chinese New Year (February 19) which says “Xian Lim says in my face (Atty Carol) while handing the coffee table book in front of many – ‘I’m not here to promote albay’.” These accusations posted by Gov. Salceda on his Facebook account put the Kapamilya actor in hot water again.
Xian already issued an apology on Twitter few hours after Gov. Salceda’s status which the latter said that he will not be accepting an apology from the actor.
But despite of the issue, messages of support for Xian from friends and fans flooded social media, making the word We Support XianLim on Twitter’s trending topics in the Philippines.
Xian is expected to be seen in “The Buzz” tomorrow to air his side and finally explain what really happened.
