According Andrew Wolff on his Instagram post, though he did not mentioned Melissa Mendez, the actress wanted to use his and his friend’s reserved seats, it was also said that she was exclaiming profound words while being asked to get off the plane. The model-actor also mentioned that she punched Andrew’s friend and the flight attendants. According to Andrew, 20 ground staff was needed to restrain and offload Melissa from the plane.
Andrew’s side of the story is very different from the side of Melissa.
Melissa was in tears while explaining to Lhar Santiano aired on “24 Oras” what really transpired that resulted of her being offloaded from Cebu Pacific flight 5J711 enroute to Mindanao. She explained, “Kasi pagsakay namin sa eroplano, ang upuan ko kasi is 2B, ang kasamahan kong si Malu Barry is 1C. Kasama ko kasi sina Malu, papunta kaming Lanao del Sur. Habang wala pang nakaupo dun sa harapan, number 1A, umupo muna ako dun. Tapos nung dumating na yung nakaupo dun, na nakita ko si Andrew Wolff ‘tsaka yung kasama niyang lalaki na hindi ko kilala, sabi ko, ‘Puwede makisuyo, favor lang. Dito muna ako para lang pag-take off makuhanan ko ng picture yung clouds.’ Sabi niya [kasama ni Andrew], ‘Hindi puwede, binayaran namin ‘yang upuan na ‘yan. Binayaran namin ‘yang upuan na ‘yan.’”
