GMA-7, the Kapuso network formerly announced that Superstar Nora Aunor will be having a comeback and will do a drama involving her daughter, Lotlot De Leon and her grand daughter, Janine Gutierrez. As presumed by the many, it was a drama series. But voila! It turned out to just be an episode of a current early afternoon drama series.
As to the Superstar’s former network, TV-5, there have been issues that Nora Aunor is having a hard time committing to a long-time project due to schedule conflicts. A busy person, indeed! Perhaps, that one-day taping has not been so trouble-some for the actress’s schedule. Be that as it may, would GMA-7 give her a break on drama, despite of the said issue?
Talking about the series where Nora Aunor takes part of in an episode, it was deemed that the series be controversial because of its concept where homosexuality is highlighted. With Mark Herras and Martin del Rosario as the lead roles of the pilot episode of the anthology, it became a buzz among netizens and went trending in the internet. In other words, the afternoon drama series’ rating is a boom. Since the initial episode started with a good feedback, many viewers got hooked and became an avid follower of the series. Well, in this case it is a real pressure on the part of the Superstar. So the question is, will her episode meet the expectation of the viewers and also go trending? Will her episode tantamount or surpass the previous episode’s rating?
Did GMA-7 give her an episode to assess to whether or not give her a break? Is this episode her keystone on winning a big break? Should the network be impressed of her episode’s rating, will the Kapuso network consider on giving her a project? Let’s wait and see.
