ABS-CBN’s hit primetime teleserye “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” caught the attention of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) because of a violation in a confrontation scene between actors Pilar Pilapil and Ian Veneracion aired on May 29.
In an order released by MTRCB on June 4, they summoned the executives of ABS-CBN in a conference on Monday, June 9 due to what they believed “a strong language” that “also cuts into the dignity of the woman and the integrity of an impending marriage.”
Here’s the letter from MTRCB:
MTRCB is expected to meet some of ABS-CBN executives today, June 9, for a mandatory conference.
