After the released of his self-titled album, PBB’s Swabeng Swimmer ng Quezon City is ready to dive into concert scene.
Hearthrob Enchong Dee will fulfill his ultimate dream to have his first major solo concert that is slated on July 3 & 10 at Music Museum.
Dee has simply given 8 reasons why you shouldn’t miss his Deetour: The Chinito Live in Concert and LionhearTV lets you know them all.
1.) He’s very hands-on
Chinito cutie Enchong admitted that majority of ideas and concepts for the concert came from him. “Sa akin lahat nanggaling ang conceptualization pero I’m asking my musical directors, ‘Sa tingin niyo po ba magiging maganda ‘to o hindi?’ So nagco-collaborate kami with my choreographer, nagtatanong ako. Majority talagang piniga ko ‘yung utak ko,” he said.
(“All concepts came from me but still I’m asking my musical directors, ‘Do you think will this be beautiful or not?’ So we’re collaborating together with my choreographer, I’m asking them.I squeezed everything there is in my mind.”)
2.) Not your ordinary concert
We’ve seen the actor performing sizzling production numbers with his co-stars and is visible in ASAP every Sunday afternoon. Therefore when he was asked how the process of staging would be like, he said that those kinds of production (like in ASAP) will be present on his concert but there is definitely more than that.
“Ayoko siya na simpleng concert lang na para lang masabing makapag-concert lang. It’s really something from my heart.”
(“I don’t like it to be a simple concert just for the sake that atleast I have had. It’s really something from my heart.”)
3.) Show versatility as an artist
Not just a good actor and dancer, Enchong can also sing. He said dancing is his strength but on his concert, he will both showcase his talent in singing and dancing.
4.) Star-studded guests
Suprised guests for Deetour’s concert include Yeng Constantino, Gerald Anderson, John Lloyd Cruz, Rayver Cruz, Erich Gonzales, Bea Alonzo, Joseph Marco, Enrique Gil, and more.

6.) Embrace KPOP
ABS-CBN’s contract artist said during the interview with bloggers that he will celebrate the KPOP dance as part of his concert.
He promised that we’ll be seeing him perform to tune of Korean pop songs that are popular nowadays.
7.) His greatest influencers are..
Michael Jackson is his greatest influencer and Enchong is set to revive the hitsong “Man in the Mirror” tomorrow, Friday .
“Ipapakita ko yung mga naginfluence sakin when I’m growing up.”
(“I will show who my influencers (in music) were when I (was) growing up.”)
“Sabi ko kapag nagka-concert ako, kahit hindi ko sya kayang kantahin, pipilitin ko siyang kantahin kasi gustong-gusto ko. So talagang magiging part sya ng setlist,” he added.
(“I said to myself once that I will have my own concert, though I can’t sing it, I will try because I really want to. So, it will really be a part of my setlist.”)
Aside from king of pop, boybands like Back Street Boys and NSync are also his biggest influencers.
“Just like parang mga boy bands, so very pop. Ito yung gagawin kong concert, dun siya nakafocus.”
(“Just like boybands, it’s so pop. This is what I gonna do in my concert. The focus is there.”)
8.) He can pull-off a song
“‘Yung singing I want to show people na ‘He’s not the best singer, he’s not considered as a singer but he can pull off the songs,'” he said when he asked why he chose to pursue a career path in singing as well.
On Monday, he earned a platinum record award for his very first album, push.abs-cbn.com reported.
