The hashtag became a top trending topic not only in the Philippines but also worldwide.
The #ALDUBTheAbduction beats its previous record of #ALDUBBATTLEForACause with 5.8 million (5,807,200) tweets last September 5, 2015.
THe #ALDUBTheAbduction is considered to be the most number of tweets in 24 hours in the Philippines. However, #LoveWins still holds on its number one spot in worldwide tweets. The hashtag is pertaining to the approval of the U.S. Supreme Court of the same-sex marriage.
Netizens waited and watched the exciting confrontation of the two main character, Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza a.k.a Yaya Dub, in the Kalyeserye. The two has been abducted and was blindfolded by Duhrizz (Lola Nidora’s granddaughter).
Again, the two saw each other and even shared an indirect kiss through Duhrizz’s coffee straw. Aside from that, Yaya Dub as well held Alden’s chest in just seconds. This made the entire studio audiences and TV viewers gone wild. Again, Duhrizz made an interruption on that beautiful moment.
