Kris Aquino revealed that she has tested positive for COVID-19 once again following a recent hospitalization.
The Queen of All Media shared the update through her Instagram Stories, where she posted a photo of an antigen test kit showing a positive result.

According to Kris, she had already been feeling ill after being discharged from the hospital earlier this week while continuing her ongoing battle with multiple autoimmune diseases.
“I’ve been sick from the time I got out of the hospital, early Sunday. Kuya Josh on Monday started to cough and sneeze last night,” Kris wrote.
“I didn’t want him to feel unwelcome and he was wearing his mask so I slept with him,” she added.
Kris shared that her condition worsened after taking her Methotrexate injectable chemotherapy treatment. She experienced weakness and recurring fever in the days that followed.
“Wednesday, I slept the whole day, that night I asked for the aircon to be lowered. Thursday until Monday night my fever stayed in the 37.8 to 38.9 range,” she said.
The actress-host also revealed the difficulty of managing her symptoms because of limitations on the medication she can safely take.
“Remember I can only get up to 300 mg of paracetamol for the whole day,” she explained.
Kris said she was later prompted to take a COVID-19 test after checking on her friend, fashion designer JC Buendia, who had reportedly undergone COVID-19 testing during a recent hospitalization.
“I checked on my friend (JC Buendia) and he had mentioned having been tested for (COVID-19) during his recent hospitalization,” she shared.
Following the conversation, Kris took an antigen test herself and eventually confirmed she had contracted the virus again.
“I said sleeping is a lost luxury because of my neverending fits of evening coughing,” she added.
Despite her latest health setback, Kris assured supporters that she remains determined to continue fighting amid her ongoing medical struggles.
Kris has previously disclosed that she is battling nine autoimmune conditions. She flew to the United States in 2022 to seek specialized treatment before returning to the Philippines in 2024.
