Few hours after Celebrity Stylist Liz Uy formally filed the six (6) counts of online libel and grave slander against Michael Sy Lim (the blogger behind Fashion Pulis) an official statement in regards to this issue is released on his site yesterday November 9 2015.
On a post written in English and Filipino, Michael Sy Lim expressed his feelings how he is saddened by the news that Liz Uy decided to file a case against him. He also said that his previous posts about Liz Uy’s work on Maine Mendoza’s outfit is based from a truthful observation from many that had noticed. Michael Sy Lim also said that it is not his intention to damage Liz Uy’s reputation but as a blogger he has a freedom of the press and expression.
In addition, He also said that he will bravely face the case filed against him and will file counter charges against celebrity stylist Liz Uy.

Following the Blog posts, he also posted in Twitter that Fashion Pulis’ fight are for those who believe in freedom of the press and expression.
Last October 29 2015, Fashion Pulis posts a statement saying “Stylist Makes Maine Mendoza Wear Recycled Gown on Historical TV Event”. It is then find out that TAPE Inc., the production company of Eat Bulaga purchased the gown for the “Tamang Panahon” event which Kim Chiu modeled for “Francis Libiran Metrowear Icon” fashion show in 2013, but it has not been worn at any other event by any other celebrity.
Also on same day, Fashion Pulis posted the following “Insta Scoop: Liz Uy makes Maine Mendoza wear same jacket she wore weeks ago in Preview photoshoot.”
It is then revealed that its NOT Liz Uy who styled Maine Mendoza during the Preview photoshoot, but the magazine’s creative director itself Vince Uy who made the selection from the Gucci Cruise 2016 collection. Because of the magazine’s policy and confidentiality, Liz Uy is not aware that the same jacket is chosen for Maine Mendoza.
This is the second libel case of Michael Sy Lim this year. Last August 11 2015, he was arrested over libel charges filed by Deneice Cornejo when he posted the leaked medical result of Cornejo from Healthway showing that the she may have a sexually transmitted disease.
