The Bilyonaryo News Channel (BNC) has issued a public warning against unauthorized messages circulating online that falsely use its name in private communications.

In an official statement, the organization clarified that it has no involvement in these messages and did not authorize any such communications.
“These messages do not originate from Bilyonaryo’s official channels or personnel,” BNC said.
The clarification came after screenshots of alleged text messages referencing BNC began circulating online. These messages were reportedly tied to scams impersonating Liza Marcos.
Marcos herself has already denied any connection to the messages and warned the public about individuals using her identity to solicit money.
“To be clear: these messages are not from me. There are individuals impersonating others and attempting to solicit money through deception,” she said.
BNC confirmed that it is currently reviewing the situation and taking appropriate steps to address the unauthorized use of its name.
The organization also reiterated its commitment to credible journalism despite the spread of misinformation.
“As misinformation tactics become more sophisticated, Bilyonaryo stays focused on what matters: high-impact reporting that sets the agenda across business, government, and markets,” the statement added.
Authorities and organizations continue to remind the public to verify sources and avoid engaging with suspicious messages, especially those requesting money or personal information.
