Unlike other celebrities, Maine Mendoza did not come from a clan of celebrities. She became popular not because of stunning looks or great acting skills but because of her unique personality that everybody just love even she don’t say a single word.
Even Maine Mendoza is new in showbiz, she has numerous commercial endorsements and appeared as cover for magazines with her on screen partner Alden Richards.
AlDub has the biggest billboard in Edsa right now for their CoCa Cola endorsement. Their human size standee are all over McDonald’s branches nationwide and we can also see them in the newest billboards of Belo Medical Group.
Recently, Maine Mendoza signed as one of the endorsers for Bench and since both Alden and Maine are now with Bench, Aldubnation are expecting another Billboard for AlDub.
It is not surprising if one day all billboards we see in Edsa are all faces of Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards. But more opportunities for AlDub results less opportunities for other celebrities.
Because of the sudden rise and popularity of AlDub, some celebrities became jobless as their planned project and /or endorsements is given to Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza.
Recently, It was announced that Maine Mendoza will be receiving a star in “ShowBiz Walk of Fame” at Eastwood City Mall on December 1, 2015.
Many long time celebrities have not yet receive a “Star” in Philippine’s Walk of Fame and still hoping to get noticed, while Maine Mendoza secured her “star” in less than 5 months in entertainment industry.
From GMA News instagram post, other celebrities to receive a spot in “Showbiz Walk of Fame” aside from Maine Mendoza are Alden Richards, Wally Bayola, Jose Manalo, Paolo Ballesteros, Jhake Vargas and Julie Ann San Jose.
