“I will never drink again” is a common phrase said by people who experience heavy hangover blues in the morning after a night of booze.

When you are up all night, drinking and celebrating with your family and friends, you tend to forget (or intentionally disregard) that its effect may pester you in the morning. When hangover hits you the next day, that’s when you realize that you should not have drank so much the night before.

But even if you swear that you will not drink again, there’s always an occasion you can’t say no to. When that happens, you have to deal again with a throbbing headache, fatigue, dizziness, vomiting and everything bad that comes with it.

People have been looking for ways to lessen, if not prevent, hangover blues. Some people go for the natural way which is to sleep and rehydrate with water (mixed with honey, depending on one’s preference). Water is needed to replenish the electrolytes and nutrients which the body loses because of heavy alcohol intake, while getting enough rest also allows the body to regain its normal function.

Unfortunately, not everyone has the luxury of spending a few hours of rest after a night of partying. There’s ton of work in the office (even at home) and hangover may severely affect one’s performance. To rid themselves of hangover, others choose to take pain relievers to get rid of headache. But this is not advisable since pain relievers like paracetamol combined with heavy alcohol may damage the liver.

There is now another alternative for expelling those hangover symptoms without damaging your liver. Now available at The Zen Institute, the Party Detox treatment replenishes and rejuvenates the body with micronutrients, amino acids, minerals and B vitamins that will ensure a healthy liver and reduce the symptoms of a hangover.
An intravenous drip with a baby needle is administered to the intoxicated client. The bag contains Carnitine Orotate, Carnitine HCL, amino acids, Pyridoxine (Vit B6), Cyanocobalamin and Adenosine. The drip uses a baby needle which is almost pain –free. The drip will flush out toxins from the body, allowing clients to resume their busy activities as if they had a full night’s sleep.

Normally, one has no choice but to suffer the bad effects of a hang over after a fun night. With Party Detox, the happy and celebratory mood is extended till the next day.

Apart from the convenience of eliminating hangover, the treatment keeps the liver healthy thanks to the thorough cleansing process. “Even at a young age, party goers can keep their liver healthy. They can drink and celebrate without worrying about their health,” remarked Dr. MJ Torres, Zen Institute owner and Head Doctor.
