It looks like Miss Germany has a friend in Miss India as Urvashi Rautela airs gripes on the recent Miss Universe pageant.
She allegedly remarked during an interview that the Miss Universe 2015 pageant has been biased and favored the Philippines and allegedly told that the judges were under pressure to announce Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach as the winner as next year’s Miss Universe will be held in the Philippines which is not true as it will be in Belize.
She also questioned why she was not even in the Top 15 despite impressive performance in various rounds such as Swimwear, Evening Gown and Interview. But the most outrageous claims she allegedly made is that Miss Colombia knew in advance that her name would be declared as winner by mistake.
Urvashi Rautela was later seen as one of the contestants who is trying to console Miss Colombia after Host Steve Harvey mistakenly declared Miss Colombia as winner but later took it back when he says there’s been a mistake in his pronouncement.
But in fairness to Miss India there’s nowhere in the newspaper Dainik Jagran where she allegedly made these claims has this interview surfaced but it has spread already and netizens have been reacting negatively on this.
Miss India who might sympathized with Miss Colombia as she also has her crown taken away due to her age back in 2012 when she won Miss Universe India title. She joined again in 2015, won and represented India in this year’s Miss Universe Pageant Competition.
Urvashi Rautela described herself in her Instagram as the youngest Bollywood Actress to win maximum number of beauty titles in entire pageant history ever. Maybe she could join again next year and follow Miss Universe Pia’s perseverance and ends India’s 15 year droughts in the Miss Universe pageant.
