“The Rich Man’s Daughter” (2014)
The series focuses on the love story of lesbians named Jade Tanchingco (Rhian Ramos) and Althea Guevarra (Glaiza de Castro). Initially, Jade was supposed to marry her long-time boyfriend but falls in love with the wedding coordinator named Althea instead.
Jade’s father then offers 100 million pesos to any man who can make Jade go back to being straight.
Though the series aired for only 13 weeks or a total of 65 episodes, the lead actresses still have a following as a love team (Rastro).
The drama series was nominated as Best Primetime Drama Series at the PMPC Star Awards for Television.
