Alden Richards left the country on January 5, 2016 for the Middle East to perform for our kababayans in Dubai on January 7 and in Doha on January 8, 2016. He returned on January 9 but the AlDub Nation group is asking why he hasn’t resurfaced at the Kalyeserye show. They have been waiting for Alden to reappear, but he has been absent to this day.
The Journal Online said Alden has been instructed not to report to “Eat Bulaga” in the meantime. Could this be true?
Fans are asking if the AlDub love team is being dissolved in favor of Jake Ejercito.
Some say Alden’s absence from the show for several days for his Dubai and Doha stint may be the reason why his work at Eat Bulaga has been affected.
However, Alden’s team said it asked permission and the GMA Artist Center even sent an e-mail to the heads of Eat Bulaga regarding the trip to which the latter agreed. In fact, Alden tried his best to be at the ‘Kalyeserye’ show last Saturday in spite of his 5:45 p.m. flight.
Could it be that they are just giving Alden a much-needed vacation? He has been sick lately and we know that he is overworked with all the things he’s doing – at “Eat Bulaga” from Monday to Saturday and on Sunday at ‘Sunday Pinasaya’, not to mention his various endorsements and shows abroad.
In an interview with Gigi Santiago-Lara, GMA senior assistant VP for alternative productions, Philstar online said the network has a lot in store for the AlDub team and are even planning to launch a soap to be done simulataneously with the noontime show segment.
Their first starring film together is also in the pipeline, there’s a follow-up release to Alden’s “Wish I May” album, and an album offer for Maine, among others.
With all kinds of projects lined up for the love team and their popularity, it seems dissolving AlDub is not an option at this point in time.
