“My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore,” almost reached ₱300-million mark on January 2

According to GMA Films President Annette Gozon-Abrogar in a report published on PEP.ph, the movie “My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore” starring AiAi delas Alas, Vic Sotto and the AlDub loveteam almost reached its ₱300-million mark as of January 2. There’s no recent news yet regarding the total gross of their movie as of this writing.

The MMFF on its Facebook page on that day said its 8 movies have reached total gross earnings of P834 million in 9 days from December 25, 2015 to January 2, 2016. In no particular order, the movies “My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore,” “Beauty and the Bestie,” “Haunted Mansion,” and “#WalangForever” are still the 4 in the lead.

“My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore” was early to celebrate for they broke the MMFF opening day box office records. The much-anticipated first big screen team up of Alden Richards and Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza in “My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore” shook Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) records as it posted gross earnings of 60,462,169.57 pesos on its opening day.

MMFF’s newest update released on its Facebook page says the 8 entries have already reached ₱1.020-million (December 25, 2015 – January 7, 2016).

Starring the unbeatable comedy box-office royalties Vic Sotto and Ms. Ai Ai Delas Alas, side by side the phenomenal AlDub loveteam of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, the movie certainly didn’t disappoint and went on to give their legions of followers fun, wholesome, romantic and excitingly entertaining movie for the whole family.

Directed by Jose Javier Reyes with a script he co-wrote with Bibeth Orteza, “My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore” is produced jointly by five giant film outfits — OctoArts Films, M-Zet Television Productions, Inc., APT Entertainment, GMA Films and Meda Production.

Maine Mendoza won the Best Festival Supporting Actress during the MMFF 2015 Awards night, while “My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore”’ bagged two major awards. It was chosen as the Festival’s ‘3rd Best Picture’ and took home the Gatpuno Antonio Villegas Cultural Award.
