After 7 years and 6 months in relationship, “Pepito Manalato’s” star Arthur Solinap held his engagement proposal to former Sexbomb leader-actress Rochelle Pangilinan in Balay Indang Resort in Indang, Cavite wherein the two lovers first met.
The long wait is almost over when Arthur decided to kneel down with a ring and asked Rochelle to be his wife.
According to an article from GMA News Online, he did a respectful and traditional act when he went to the grave of Rochelle’s father to ask for permission about their unification, 3 days ago before the proposal.
He put his best foot forward for planning a successful and memorable scenario for both of them.
Through the help of Nice Print Photography, Arthur shared some of his self-captured clips showing his preparations and for the event and said,
“Papunta ako ngayon sa puntod ng tatay mo. Gusto kong magpaalam sa kaniya na gusto kong pakasalan ang kaniyang anak. I know hindi natin siya kasama physically, pero in spirit ay naroon siya para gabayan tayo.”
In PEP article, the casts of the comedy show “Pepito Manaloto” showed their support to him as well as his cousin Dingdong Dantes, and his showbiz friend’s Jolina Magdangal, together with her husband Mark Escueta, Michael V with his wife Carol Bunagan, John Feir, Sef Cadayona, Angelika Dela Cruz, Gabby Eigenmann, Andrea Torres, Max Collins, and etc.
Some of the former Sexbomb dancers like Sunshine Garcia, Aira Bermudez, and Mia Pangyarihan were also there. GMA executives lead by Ms. Lilybeth Rasonable and her family witnessed the shocking event too.
On the day of the event, Rochelle didn’t have any idea on Arthur’s surprise. All she knew was a post Valentine’s day celebration and Arthur’s birthday. The glamorous lights greeted her as she entered the door with a smiling face and wondered.
The unrelenting surprise became more romantic when Arthur hit the nail on the head as he confessed his sweet feelings to Rochelle and successfully reached to the climax and asked,“Will you marry me?” The beautiful woman cried and nodded as a sign of agreement and her happiness was on top of the world to be Arthur’s fiancee and future Mrs. Solinap.
The engagement proposal ended in a fireworks display.
