Friends and fellow celebrities of Kapuso actor-dancer Mark Herras expressed concern after he shared an emotional video on Instagram that showed him visibly distressed and in tears.
In the short video, posted on his official account and captioned ‘Kulong Sa Sistema’ (Imprisoned by the system), Herras appeared anxious and overwhelmed. Parts of the reel showed him smoking, followed by scenes of him crying while seated and leaning against a wall.
In other moments, he could be seen wiping his tears with a red towel, changing clothes inside a room, and walking while wearing a hood.
The actor did not provide any context or explanation for the video, leaving viewers uncertain about what he was trying to convey. However, the raw and emotional imagery led many to believe that Herras may be going through a serious personal struggle.
The comment section quickly filled with messages of support and concern, particularly from his close friends in the entertainment industry.
Actor Rocco Nacino encouraged Herras to take things one step at a time. “One day at a time brother. Ikaw ang unang produkto ng Starstruck, huwag kalimutan of dream, believe, survive. Tawag ka lang sa akin kung kailangan mo ng kausap.”
Fellow actor Rodjun Cruz also expressed his support, writing: “I love you my brother Mark. Akap. GOD bless You.”
Kapuso actress Carla Abellana reassured Herras that he is not alone. “Kapit lang. Hindi ka nag-iisa.”
Actor Enzo Pineda commented simply: “Laban paps.”
Meanwhile, dancer and actress Rochelle Pangilinan wrote, “Lab ka namin Herras!”
Former ‘StarStruck’ co-star Kris Bernal added, “We miss you Mark!”
Other ‘StarStruck’ alumni, including Sheena Halili, Katrina Halili, and Nadine Samonte, also sent messages of concern and prayers for the actor.
As of this writing, Herras has not issued any follow-up statement to clarify the meaning behind his post or address the concerns raised by fans and friends.
