Mariel Pamintuan, currently a GMA Network talent has been very overwhelmed with the positive reaction her “Maalaala Mo Kaya” March 5th, 2016 episode received. The MMK episode was about the story of a Sally (Mariel Pamintuan), a young rape victim whose world gets broken apart when her own mother (Sunshine Cruz) refuses to believe her.
The longest running ABS-CBN drama anthology episode featuring Mariel trended on Twitter last Saturday night which overwhelmed the Kapuso teen actress.

The ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya’ March 6th episode was directed by Raz de la Torre and written by Arah Jell which stars Mariel Pamintuan, Sunshine Cruz, Badayos Ronnie Quizon, Alex Medina, Carla Martinez, Lander Vera-Perez, Laiza Comia, Lance Lucido, John Steven de Guzman, Micah Muñoz, Jennifer Mendoza, Noel Colet, Maila Gumila and Erin Ocampo.

Mariel Pamintuan, known in real life as Mariel Viray Pamintuan was a former Star Magic Artist and was known for her character in ‘Angelito: Batang Ama’ (2011) as Charee Pineda’s sister, Rachel Dimaano. This is also not the first time that Mariel has appeared in Maalaala Mo Kaya; in the episode entitled ‘Korona’ (Crown) about the life of Venus before joining the Miss Universe which aired on July 21, 2012 Mariel played as the role of a young Maricel.
On 2013, Mariel transferred to GMA Network wherein she played the role of Isabelle Aguirre, Heart Evangelista’s sister in ‘Magkano Ba ang Pag-ibig?’. She also became one of the cast of ‘My BFF’ (2014) alongside Jillian Ward, Mona Louise Rey, Manilyn Reynes, and Janno Gibbs. She later played the role of Miguel Tanfelix’ older sister, Athena Pelaez Almario who at first hated Ella played by Bianca Umali in ‘Once Upon a Kiss’ (2015). Later on that year, she played the role of Leslie de Jesus in ‘Beautiful Strangers’ with Heart Evangelista.

As of this writing of this article, Mariel has finished highschool back in 2015 and just turned 18 last February 24, 2016. A bright career is ahead of a young teen actress if only her potential is properly tapped by her mother network.
