For AlDub fans, it’s an eye sore to see Alden Richards with someone else on the TV remake of the Pinoy adaptation of the hit Korean drama “My Love From The Star.” Last month, GMA Network already confirmed Alden Richards to lead “My Love From The Star” as Matteo Do, but who will be the Steffi Cheon? Unfortunately, Maine Mendoza aka Yaya Dub can’t do the series for now.
Rumors surfaced last month that Jennylyn was already the chosen pair for Alden as Steffi Cheon. And until now, it’s still a rumor as GMA Network remains to be mum with who will be Alden’s leading lady on his upcoming TV series. Jennylyn is yet to renew her contract with GMA Network next month. Will this be the right time to confirm? We’ll see…
Alden and Maine are currently filming in Italy their very first movie as leads, which is bound to be released in July as part of their celebration of their first anniversary as a love team. “My Love From The Star” will begin filming after Alden finished shooting his movie with Maine.
“My Love From The Star” is 2014 Korean TV series which was premiered on GMA-7 starring Kim Soo Hyun as Matteo Do and Jun Ji Hyun as Steffi Cheon. It centers on the story of an human-like alien (Matteo Do)who landed on Earth in the Joseon Dynasty and falls in love with a top actress (Steffi Cheon) in the modern era.
