Weekend primetime has new leaders and that is according to the latest AGB Nielsen Mega Manila household survey covering June 25-26, 2016.
After several tries, “Magpakailanman” emerges on top of Saturday primetime rankings beating fellow Kapuso and former Saturday primetime leader “Pepito Manaloto”. That episode features the story of social media star “Carrot Man” played by Jake Vargas. The episode got a ratings of 27.2%, 3.6% higher than the 2nd place and former leader Pepito Manaloto which got 23.6%.
If “Magpakailanman” changes the leadership board on Saturday, “Ismol Family” followed suit on primetime Sunday. The Kapuso sitcom has surprisingly overtaken long time leader “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho”. “Ismol Family” got a ratings score of 21.8%, 0.4% higher than the 2nd placer “24 Oras Weekend” and 0.6% than the former leader and ranked 3rd “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho.”
Meanwhile, “Eat Bulaga!” and “Sunday Pinasaya” continues to dominate the daytime ratings board.
