In a memorandum issued on Monday, MTRCB invited the executives behind “PBB Lucky Season 7” program for a conference scheduled on August 18 to discuss the bullying issues involving Badjao housemate Rita Gabiola.

The episode in question showed Rita’s female housemates laughing at her after taking notice of her undergarments. In tears, she confronted the girls and made them realize their rudeness.
The content of the memorandum reads:
“Further to recent feedback that we received through social media and as well as the result of our own monitoring, through our Monitoring and Inspection Unit, we refer to the above-captioned episode which allegedly depicted the “bullying” of one housemate by the name of Rita “Badjao Girl” Gaviola.
With the above, and considering further the age as well as gender of the concerned housemate, not to mention the representation made in your program that she belongs to an indigenous group or peoples of the Philippines, we are impelled to ask your attendance, through your authorized representative/s at a conference scheduled for 18 August 2016, 10:30 a.m. at the MTRCB Adjudication Room.”
Last week, Albay 2nd District Representative Joey Salceda calls out the attention of MTRCB and DSWD to take a remedial action after Rita Gabiola got teased inside the PBB House.
