Kapamilya game show beating Kapuso’s longest running variety program. And controversial “Alyas Robin Hood” is off to a great start.
Luis Manzano hosted game show “Minute To Win It” is getting good ratings as of late. In the AGB Nielsen Urban Luzon TV ratings result for the dates September 19-23, 2016, “Minute To Win It” was able to defeat long time leader “Eat Bulaga!”. On Tuesday September 20, “Minute To Win It” overtakes “Eat Bulaga!” in the daytime board settling at number 2 with 15.5%. “Eat Bulaga!” on the other hand fell down in the 3rd spot with only 0.1% difference at 15.4%.
Meanwhile, “Wowowin” conquered daytime lead again from Monday to Wednesday with respective ratings of 19.5%, 16.5% and 17.3%. “Eat Bulaga!” bounced back on Thursday and Friday with 18.2% and 19% respectively.
For primetime, controversial series “Alyas Robin Hood” starring Dingdong Dantes scored good ratings on its pilot week. The highly criticized “rip-off” of Arrow debuts strongly as it wins timeslot against Kapamilya teleserye “Magpahanggang Wakas”. “Alyas Robinhood” climbed as high as number 2 on Thursday September 22 with 24.0% ratings beating “Magpahanggang Wakas'” 17.4%. The controversy prior to its debut must be really of great help to boost its recall and viewers curiosity.
“Encantadia”, meanwhile remains the primetime leader beating “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” which suffered big loss to settle in 3rd and 4th spots.
