“Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7” officially named Edward, Kisses and Maymay as its three Lucky Suns as they were welcomed back in the outside world last night (Nov 19).
After more than four months inside the house, the three teen housemates have entered the final stage of the competition and are moving on to the much-anticipated “PBB Lucky Season 7 Big Night.”
When asked by host Bianca Gonzalez about the most important lesson he learned inside the house, Edward said, “Something that I learned was how to fail. I know I made so many mistakes in the house but I know I learned to pick myself up and keep moving.”
Kisses, meanwhile, shared the task she considered the most unforgettable, “The domino task — since we’ve done so many things for that task alone and we cried in every part of the task.”
Maymay, who was visibly elated, said, “”I’m so happy, it feels like a dream. The reason I joined the contest is here beside me, my Lola.”
Last Friday (Nov 18), Maymay bagged the final slot in the “Big Night” after getting the higher percentage of public votes (54.57%) versus Yong’s 45.43%. Like Maymay, Kisses was named a Lucky Sun by winning the public votes.
Edward, on the other hand, got his spot by winning the wire maze challenge, in which he was able to finish faster than Yong and Christian.
The German charmer was considered one of the leaders inside the house and showed the true meaning of friendship – one that understands and looks through mistakes. Kisses demonstrated the importance of not rushing into romance, accepting oneself, and avoiding comparing oneself with others. Maymay, on the hand, gave joy and positive vibes to her fellow housemates and served as the big sister who gave advice to those who were going through personal problems.
Since its launch in 2005, “Pinoy Big Brother” has mirrored the hopes, plight, and aspirations of Filipinos through its diverse mix of housemates. Big Brother formulates tasks and challenges for the housemates to bring out their best, test their strengths, and foster camaraderie as they undergo a transformative journey inside the house.
