Kapuso afternoon drama breaking daytime tradition and primetime counterpart continues domination.
GMA Network’s afternoon drama “Ika-6 Na Utos” broke tradition as it soars to the number 1 spot of daytime rankings. In the latest AGB Nielsen NUTAM survey for February 1-3, 2017, “Ika-6 Na Utos” demoted longtime leader “Eat Bulaga!” to the second position.
“Ika-6 Na Utos” took all the days in the survey period with 16.6%, 17.0% and 16.6% ratings respectively. Former leader “Eat Bulaga!” oh the other hand have to settle in number 2 with 15.5%, 15.2% and 15.4% ratings respectively.
While daytime has crowned new leader, daytime stays in the status quo as “Encantadia” secured primetime throne. The Kapuso epic telefantasya remained the most watched primetime program beating rival “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”. “Encantadia” scored an average of 25.0% compared to “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s” 24.1% which is good for the number 2 position.
