Kapamilya shows are in their element last weekend as they won big time against their competitors based on the latest AGB Nielsen NUTAM survey for March 10-13, 2017.
“It’s Showtime’s Tawag Ng Tanghalan” Grand Finals slain “Eat Bulaga!” to take Saturday’s daytime top spot. “It’s Showtime” get an average ratings of 23.1% versus “Eat Bulaga!’s” 15.7%. This is the 2nd time this year that “It’s Showtime” edged “Eat Bulaga!” and take the top spot on a weekend.
Tawag Ng Tanghalan’s Huling Tapatan crowned Noven Belleza as its Grand Champion with Sam Mangubat and Froilan Canlas taking the 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
ABS-CBN’s newest celebrity talent show, “I Can Do That” also registered good ratings as it won their timeslot on its pilot episode. “I Can Do That” beats GMA Networks “Full House Tonight”, 12.7% to 12.2%. “I Can Do That” features Pokwang, JC Santos, Daniel Matsunaga, Wacky Kiray, Arci Munoz, and Kristine Reyes, Sue Ramirez and Gab Valenciano as its I contestants.
Meanwhile, “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids” is back on top of primetime weekend. Last week YFSF Kids slide down to the 2nd spot with former number one programs taking its spot. But last Saturday and Sunday, YFSF Kids proved they are still in it to win it scoring 23.2% on Saturday, 1.6% higher that 2nd placer “Magpakailanman”, and 25.5% on Sunday, 0.9% higher that 2nd placer fellow Kapamilya Wansapanataym.
