Over the years, Darna was portrayed by many actresses; but only one of them has stood out. Well, that’s according to Pokwang who called Angel Locsin as the “Best Darna ever.”
A Star Cinema’s official statement that Angel cannot be able to play the role of Darna anymore, Pokwang took to her Instagram account to expresse her sadness.
Angel, who wore the red-and-gold costume back in 2005 became one of the most famous Darnas over the last decades.
“Kung totoo nga na hindi na ikaw ang gaganap na bilang Darna sobrang nakakalungkot para sakin ikaw ang forever na Darna. Pero mas importante ang kalusugan mo @therealangellocsin,” she wrote on the caption.
Angel’s spinal damage is believed to be the main cause of her cancelled “Darna” project.
And although there will be a next actress to play the iconic character, Angel Locsin is still “The Best Darna eveeerrr” for Pokwang.
