Kris Aquino has finally addressed the rumors that she is dating San Antonio, Nueva Ecija Councilor Renan Morales.
“Walang truth whatsoever,” she blurted out.
Renan is the son of “Trip Ni Kris” producer Rhodora Pascual-Morales.
In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph’s editor-in-chief Jo-Ann Maglipon, Kris said she was disappointed at how events have played out in her work engagement with Renan and his mom.
The Queen of All Media admitted that she had kept silence earlier because “Trip Ni Kris” was yet to air. But now, Kris has finally broken her silence.
“Ang press release nila, big time na big time sila,” she revealed.
The interview also revealed that the Moraleses held a press conference at Club Filipino for “Trip Ni Kris”. The press conference happened with Kris’ presence.
“Nagpa-presscon sila para sa sarili nila,” Kris said. “Sarili nila prinomote nila, not me,” she added.
Kris also emphasized that she’s no longer connected with the Moraleses. “I have no involvement with them,” she said.
She even stressed, “Okay, super nagamit ako because the son wants to be vice-governor of Nueva Ecija.”
Kris even told PEP.ph, “Super use-me-in-a-sentence talaga ang nangyari.”
Weeks after the press conference of the Moraleses, an article of Celso Cabanatuan surfaced the internet. In an interview, Renan told Celso that Kris was “in love” with him. In Celso’s article, titled “Councilor is Kris’ new beau?”, Renan’s exact quote was: “She is in love with me!”
Kris, on her part, told PEP.ph, “I am not dating anybody.”
She even elaborated, “That’s why I changed my number. Kasi, sabi ko, ayaw ko nang makausap. Kasi na-turn off talaga ako.
“Na-yuck talaga ako. Talagang, oh my god, first and last!”
Moreover, Kris still thanked Ms Rhodora for having “the faith and the budget to produce #TripNiKris” through her Instagram account.
She wrote: “Thank you to all who stayed up late to watch the entire #TripNiKris… Hindi nyo lang alam how your faith in me & your effort to watch my return to tv has given my heart so much joy… I am now exercising every ounce of self control to not share with all of you my extraordinary GOOD NEWS. Because you have been part of my life journey. But- until I sign the contract, meet in Los Angeles on Easter Monday, and formally seal the deal, I need to 100% respect the NDA we signed… if I violate- baka bawiin pa, and this is really a dream opportunity come true for me. ”
