- There had always been a clamor for former love teams to do a reunion type of movie. Fans of Piolo Pascual and Judy Ann Santos are no different.
- They too would like to see their idols together again.
During an event for a financial insurance last Wednesday, even ABS-CBN executive and “Maalaala Mo Kaya” host, Charo Santos-Concio told the audience that she’s also looking forward for Piolo Pascual and Judy Ann Santos to do another movie together.
Juday jokingly asked Piolo, “Kaya mo na ba? Handa ka na ba?” The Kapamilya heartthrob just laughed as an answer to Juday’s question.
It’s been almost a decade since the last Juday-Piolo movie. Their last movie project was the film “Don’t Give Up On Us” back in 2006. In a recent interview, Judy Ann Santos revealed that a reunion movie is in the works and she also hopes it might just happen anytime soon.
“Napag-uusapan pero marami pang mg bagay na siyempre pag-uusapan, plantsahin, kasi ang tagal na naming hindi nag-pelikula tapos kailangan maayos ‘yung pelikula hindi lang pucho-pucho lang dahil ang daming naghihintay nito [reunion movie],” Juday said.
Juday also stressed that since this is something that the public is yearning for, they should come up with a well-crafted story before she will commit to doing one again with Piolo.
“It’s going to be a big project if ever it happens and we want it to be very beautiful, kasi sayang naman ‘yung pinaghintay ng mga tao kung hindi siya ma-effort and siyempre yung ‘kwento sakto sa current kung ano ‘yung mga nagyayari sa mga tao and hindi lang sa amin. Dapat very memorable. It should also be something worth waiting for,” added Juday.
Asked if all is well between her and Piolo, Juday responded, “Okay naman. Kailangan lang kami mag-usap. Ito kasi ang daming hanash [referring to Piolo who was seated beside her]. We’re okay as far as I’m concerned. We’re friends you know before you start a movie you want to start on a clean slate. Kung ano yung mga nangyari before, marami kaming dapat na plantsahin pa.”
On the possibility of doing a reunion movie with Juday, Piolo says, “A movie with Juday? Why not? Of course, I’m open to that. I’d love to. Kailangan lang ng tamang materyal para sa proyekto. “Yun lang ang hinihintay namin.”
