- The RSB Drama Unit shared on Twitter that the teleserye lead, co-actress Maja Salvador’s nail accidentally reached the Aiko’s right eye which resulted in blood clot.
- A real trouper that Aiko is, she proceeded with the taping despite having a red eye.
When you’re doing a heavy drama scene, one could really get ‘carried away.’ Such was the case when actresses Aiko Melendez and Maja Salvador engaged on a ‘cake scene’ in the hit afternoon ABS-CBN teleserye, “Wildflower.”
The RBS Drama Unit announced on Twitter that Aiko got into a minor accident after Maja’s nail accidentally hit the actress’ right eye which resulted into blood clot.
Aiko wrote on her Instagram: “#theaftermath. But happy that we were able to give you a beautiful episode a while ago. Thank you for watching #wildflower. As promised season 2 will be bolder and wilder! Don’t worry guys, I’m better now.”
She also added: “Baby girl @iammajasalvador I know it was an accident talaga and di mo sadya but I felt the genuine concern and love for me, your sweet messages nad your constant care for me made me love you more. I love you babygirl please know that I will never ever take it against you because I saw your reaction and your sleepless nights. Awww,,,it breaks my heart.”
