Most people speculated that comedian/TV host Jose Manalo was kicked out of the longest-running noontime show, “Eat Bulaga,” after he’s been missing for quite sometime now.
There were some rumors that Manalo might have shown unprofessionalism which allegedly lead to the management’s disciplinary action.
Some fans would even associate Manalo’s absence on the show to what had happened to stand-up comedian and host Super Tekla from GMA network’s “Wowowin” show whom Willie Revillame got fired recently due to unprofessionalism. But there’s no truth to it.
Television and Productions Exponents Inc. [TAPE Inc.], the management of “Eat Bulaga,” recently clarified the said issue on Manalo’s absence. Contrary to the circulating rumors, TAPE Inc. denied that they had suspended nor fired Manalo.
According to the TAPE Inc. statement, it was Manalo who actually asked for permission to take a leave for a month. The comedian/TV host is currently enjoying his much-deserved vacation in the US.
He’d only be gone for a month and soon he will be back to join the Dabarkads family again.
So, there you have it folks. There’s no truth to the circulating rumors about Jose Manalo getting fired or suspended from the show.
He’d be back on the show once his month-long vacation is done.
